Don Eckel III's dragster literally caught fire at Atco Raceway during a divisional points event. Thanks to the quick reaction of Atco's track personnel, the fire was snuffed quickly with little visible damage to the car. At the time I took this shot, Don was clearly aware of the problem and getting out of the cockpit in a hurry.
